M M Group of Institutions, now recognized as deemed University by the UGC since 2007, within a comparatively short span of time has achieved incredible success in imparting quality education in various professional and technical fields. Now from the session 2008-09 the M M University after the due permission from the Bar Council of India has embarked upon another ambitious professional programme of legal education by introducing two Law Courses- Three Years LL.B. and Five Years B.A.LL.B. (Integrated).
The M M University has allotted a newly constructed building on its campus for the Department of Law. The infrastructure includes classrooms equipped with modern aids and facilities. It has a large Seminar/Conference Hall, a Court like Moot-Court room for holding practical classes, a computerized air conditioned library with a large number of text-books (more than 3000), journals, magazines, law reports with back-volumes including AIR reports in electronic from, a well-equipped computer lab with latest softwares, and a language lab for proficiency in English language.
There are separate common rooms for boys and girls. Separate rooms are provided for Teachers to hold tutorials for the students. The Department has a Legal Aid Centre to provide free legal aid to the poor and needy. Faculty members and students are involved in this programme.
