MBBS

Duration MBBS : (4-1/2 +1-Year Internship)
Eligibility

The candidates should fulfil the following minimum conditions to become eligible for admission to MBBS course :

  1. He/She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31.12.2016.The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination certificate.
  2. The candidate must have passed both the following examinations:-
    1. Senior School Certificate Examination (10+1 & 10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination as equivalent thereto with at least five subjects from any recognized Board/University with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together (45% in the case of candidates with Locomotive Disability) and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in the qualifying examination. Student is also required to have passed in other subjects of +2 Examination.
    2. Placed in the merit list prepared as a result of this Competitive Entrance Test by securing not less than 50% marks (45% in the case of candidates with locomotive disability of lower limbs).
  3. The candidate must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from the Medical Board constituted/ approved by the Principal, M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana. The candidature of a candidate found medically unfit is liable to be cancelled. Any candidate who fails to attend the medical examination on the notified date is liable to forfeit the claim for admission and placement in the waiting list.

Note :-

  • The candidates passing qualifying examination from the National Open School shall also be eligible provided they fulfil the conditions laid down at ii (a) above.
  • Diploma in Pharmacy and Dressers Course are not equivalent to 10+2 for the purpose of admission to MBBS courses according to the rules of MM University.
  • The list of examinations recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examinations of Board of School Education, Haryana and also a list of fake institutions/ Universities/ Boards are available in the Academic Branch of the University which may be consulted before making application for admission to the course.
  • The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. but such candidates will have to submit the result of the qualifying examinations at the time of counselling failing which they will not be considered eligible for admission. Any candidate with compartment/re-appear in any subject in 10+2 examination will be considered for admission to MBBS course only if he/she has passed in that subject on or before the date of respective counselling.

Eligibility The candidates should be citizen of India; and
  • have passed MBBS examination from any of the Medical Colleges/Institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India;
  • have completed satisfactorily or are likely to complete one year compulsory rotating internship by 30.4.2016 from Colleges/Centres recognized by the Medical Council of India;
  • are registered Permanently with the State Medical Council/MCI at the time of admission; and
  • possess a certificate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Admission Criteria Seats will be filled through entrance test.
Date of Counselling & Admission A Separate Prospectus has been issued for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma course against seats to be filled through Entrance Test.

 

PG- Gegree Courses (MD/MS) : 88 seats,---- PG -Diploma Courses : 13 seats are recognized by govt of India vide MOHFW/GOI, New Delhi reference No. U.12012/314/08-ME(PII) dated 6.3.2009, 9.3.2009, 20.3.2009, 30.3.2009, 31.3.2009.

The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) in Five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from any recognized University/ Board.
Provided that the candidate who has passed 3 year diploma after matric and two year diploma after 10+2 shall be eligible for admission to the relevant branch of Bsc. (OT) & (MLT) in 2nd year through lateral entry.

B.Sc. (MLT)

The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) in Five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from any recognized University/ Board. Provided that the candidate who has passed 3 year diploma after matric and two year diploma after 10+2 shall be eligible for admission to the relevant branch of Bsc. (OT) & (MLT) in 2nd year through lateral entry.

Ph.D.

Eligibility

A candidate for admission to the Ph.D. programme in Medical Sciences must have obtained any of the following academic qualifications in the relevant discipline of research.

         i.         Has passed MD/MS/Diploma/M.Sc. Medical (3 years course- Faculty of Medical Sciences) in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Physiology & Community Health/Public Health from any of the Colleges/Institutes recognized by the Regulating Body provided that the candidate with M.Sc. (Medical) of 3-years course must have passed the same with atleast 60% marks. However, the candidate having passed M.Sc. Medical (2 year course) with at least 60% marks after passing B.Sc. (Medical) with relevant subjects as one of the subject, from the faculty of Medical Sciences shall also be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme

        ii.        Has been awarded fellowship by the UGC/NCERT/ ICMR/ NET/ DBT or any other national scholarship awarding agency with educational qualifications as in (i) above with atleast 55% marks.

      iii.      Has been working as a permanent teaching faculty in any recognized University/ Institution or as a researcher in National/ State level Institute/ Research and Development (R&D) Laboratory for the last atleast three years with educational qualifications as in (i) above with at least 55% marks.

       iv.       In the case of NRI/ Foreign candidates, they are required to have passed in the qualifying examinations of MD/MS/Diploma in the relevant subjects. The Candidates of M.Sc. (Medical) are required at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination. However, the candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from any foreign University, will have to submit equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU),New Delhi.

Admission Criteria

On the basis of the Entrance Test followed by interview. Foreign candidates will not be required to appear in the entrance test, conditions applicable.

Note
