Continuing the tradition of excellence, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University) and its constituent institutes continue to shine all across the nation owing to the stupendous performance of their students not just in the academic sphere but also in extracurricular activities and sports. This time, Kunal Gera, a student of MM College of Pharmacy won second prize in the RapStar competition of Youth Vibe 2020: Global Open Youth Fest of Lovely Professional University, Punjab. Kunal gave a sensational performance and has already gained a significant fan following in MMDU campus.

This is not the first time Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University)  students have created a buzz at the national level; the university students have been winning Moot Court competitions, sports competitions, and national level youth festivals as well. The reason for the same is the student friendly environment of the campus that nurtures talent. The faculty, as well as support staff, encourages students to take part in co-curricular activities. MMDU also provides numerous platforms to the students to express their creativity, talent, and ideas through student clubs and UniversuMM which is an annual national-level youth fest that witnesses heart-throbbing performances and huge participation from students all across India. The university Vice-Chancellor Prof.Gambhir congratulated Kunal for his wonderful achievement and extended his best wishes for more such accolades in the future.
