Yet another industry-focused webinar organized by MM College of Pharmacy on 13th May 2020 on the topic of “Enhanced Research Visibility to Improve Institutional Ranking”. The webinar was organized in collaboration with Elsevier, a leading global information analytics organization that helps institutions and professionals reap the benefits of progressive science, advanced healthcare and guides them to improve performance. The webinar was attended by more than 200 participants.

Ms. Tanseen Khanday, an eminent speaker, and the Solution Consultant, Research Intelligence, Elsevier was the resource person. Ms. Khanday enlightened the participants about the whole scenario of Scopus and how Scopus can assist in showing the right track for the journal selection and to achieve a good publication both in terms of impact and citation. She acclimatized the participants unfolding more details of Scopus and subsections that can be used as filters to refine the search like based on a specific topic, citation, maximum publication, impact factor, hot topic, etc.

She also shared her views regarding the importance of the relationship between journal selection and research. She encouraged the budding faculties to make use of her suggestions to enhance their research profile. The webinar concluded with a Question-Answer session during which several participants shared their questions and concerns which they generally face during the process of general selection. All these questions were addressed by the resource person in an impressive manner.
