Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have immensely popular in the field of education, especially higher education. It aims at providing quality education using the Internet. It encourages participative learning and extends the boundaries across the globe. MOOCs are the key drivers in online delivery of the knowledge, and to create the sustainable open-knowledge network. MOOCs and online delivery is clearly the future. MOOCs are the key driver in this paradigm-shift and build up a sustainable open knowledge network to ensure that every student benefits from gathering updated knowledge through ICT.

This FDP on E-content development is meant to understand the meaning and standards of E-content, learning objects, designing and development of digital resources for teaching and learning.
