The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with Non-Medical Subject or an equivalent Examination with at least five subjects including English as one of the subject from a recognized Board/University shall be eligible to join the First semester of B.Sc. Curriculum

1st Semester
Calculus is one of the major branches of mathematics that finds application in almost all the fields of science. This course is an introduction to calculus. Students will be introduced to the Trigonometric Functions, curve tracing, applications of integration and vector functions.

The aim of the course is to introduce the students with any mathematical software. The course consists formation and operations of matrices and its various applications .It consists of formations of different types of graphs and curves in calculus. Also, Different types of surface curves and 3D plotters are formed by using the software.

The concepts and techniques from linear algebra are of fundamental importance in many scientific disciplines the main objective is to introduce basic notions in linear algebra that are often used in mathematics and other sciences. The emphasis will be given to combine the abstract concepts with examples in order to intensify the understanding of the subject.
The course is designed for the students of Engineering & Technology who need English for specific purpose (ESP). It aims to impart and nurture the skills of communication (listening, vocabulary building, speaking, reading and writing) required for the learners in their academic, social & professional pursuits. The course puts emphasis on the practical usage of English.
To impart knowledge of web and web development, to understand how people develop web based application using markup language
To impart practical exposure by practicing the principles and techniques involved in HTML
This Course will provide information about Basic Principle and application of Finite Element Method in Differential equation, and Matrices.
2nd Semester
Introduction to the completeness property of real numbers, sequences and series of reals along with the cardinality of sets.
To exhibit the techniques for obtaining solutions to ordinary differential equations and the basic ideas and theory behind those techniques.

The aim of the course is to introduce the students with any differential equation software. The course includes the solution and plotting of different types of differential equations. The software solutions of first, second and third order differential equations with special type of models like growth model, decay model, lake pollution model will be explained.

This course will provide information about multidisciplinary nature of Environmental studies, renewable and non renewable resources, structure and functions of ecosystems, biodiversity, its threats and conservation
To impart knowledge to users and programmers to create, retrieve, update and manage data in a structured way
To impart practical exposure by practicing the principles and techniques involved in SQL

This course will provide information about the basic empirical work in economics. Its particular topics will include basic data analysis, regression analysis testing and forecasting, students will be provided with the opportunity to use actual data to test.

3rd Semester

It is a basic course on the study of real valued functions that would develop an analytical ability to have a more matured perspective of the key concepts of calculus, namely limits, continuity, differentiability and their applications.

The objective of the course is to introduce the fundamental theory of Groups and their homomorphisms. Symmetric groups and group of symmetries are also studied in detail.The course will enable the students to recognize the Mathematical objects that are groups, and classify them as abelian, cyclic and permutation groups, etc.

The main objective of this course is to teach students to form and solve partial differential equations and use them in solving some physical problems.

This course is to familiarize the students with the fundamental concepts of Partial Differential Equations (PDE) which will be used as background knowledge for the understanding of specialized courses in the field of Materials Science and Engineering.

This Lab Course will enable the students to understand the fundamentals of Latex and gain knowledge on using the preliminary constructs in solving simple applications.

The main objective of the course is to make students aware about need & features of Object  oriented languages and to understand the concept of OOP as well as the purpose and usage principles of inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation and method overloading

The main objective is to implement the simple programs using the various concepts of C++ Language and  Identify classes, objects, members of a class and the relationships among them needed for a specific problem.

The main objective of this course is to develop in students an understanding of Mathematics as a deductive science and to develop in students the computational skills and  Promote analytical and critical thinking.

The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamental theory of two objects, namely - rings and vector spaces, and their corresponding homomorphisms.

5th Semester

This course covers differential, integral and vector calculus for functions of more than one variable. These mathematical tools and methods are used extensively in the physical sciences, engineering, economics and computer graphics.

The main aim of the course is to introduce you to basic concepts from abstract algebra, especially the notion of a group. The course will help prepare you for further study in abstract algebra as well as familiarize you with tools essential in many other areas of mathematics. The other aim of this module is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and competencies to carry out their duties and responsibilities in an pure Mathematic environment.

The aim of this paper is to make the students familiar with Riemann integral theory and convergence of Improper integrals and sequences of functions.

The main objective is to define and interpret the concepts of divisibility, congruence, greatest common divisor, prime, and prime-factorization, law of Quadratic Reciprocity and other methods to classify numbers as primitive roots, quadratic residues, and quadratic non-residues.

The objectives of this course are to isolate the fundamental properties of distance and base all our deductions.

The aim of this course is to introduce the geometry of lines and conics in the Euclidean plane. Students can develop geometry with a degree of confidence and will gain fluency in the basics of Euclidean geometry. Eliminate parameters to identify curve defined by parametric equations.

6th Semester

The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamental ideas of the functions of complex variables and developing a clear understanding of the fundamental concepts of Complex Analysis such as analytic functions, complex integrals and a range of skills which will allow students to work effectively with the concepts.

Course Objective: Introduction to rings and basic properties of rings and their homomorphisms and ideals. This subject enables the students to acquire knowledge about various topics under ring theory and special classes of rings, vector spaces, subspaces bases, dimension and their properties. Moreover, from vector calculus, students can gain skills on linear transformation and ability to compute eigen values and eigen vectors of linear transformations, inner product spaces and determining orthogonality. To motivate the students to gain knowledge about adjoint of linear transformation and its canonical form.

This course presents the theory, application, and algorithms relevant to solving linear programming problems. The field of linear programming provides the appropriate methods for the efficient computation of optimal solutions of a problem which is modelled by a linear objective function and a set of linear constraints.

The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the principles of statics and dynamics. To give knowledge of fundamentals of Mechanics, equation of static equilibrium & dynamic equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies. Discuss the motion on smooth and rough planes. Discuss general motion of rigid body, Kepler’s laws.

The aim of this paper is to make students familiar about the concepts of relation between roots and coefficients of polynomial equations. Also, to learn the methods for solving cubic and biquadratic polynomial equations and basics of Fuzzy sets.

This course will provide information about the concepts of curvature of a space curve, the fundamental theorem for plane curves, the curvature and torsion of space curves, the fundamental theorem for space curves, the concept of a parameterized surface  with the help of examples, the idea of first fundamental form/metric of a surface.
