B.Sc Radiotherapy course is meant to train the students into radiotherapy professionals especially when there is a huge demand for such trained professionals. B.Sc Radiotherapy is one of the job-oriented three-year undergraduate courses during which the students gains knowledge about radiation therapy to treat cancer and other diseases with ionizing radiation. The main objective of the course is to enrich the students with skills and knowledge related to radiotherapy.

Course Objective

  • To provide suitably qualified radiography graduates capable of competent and autonomous practice
  • To create trained radiography professionals who are eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council

Eligibility Criteria

Duration: 3 Years + 1 Year Internship

For admission to B.Sc. Medical Technology-Radiotherapy, the candidate should havepassed 10 + 2 from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry andBiology with 50% marks. Candidate should have attained 17 years or more on 31 stDecember of the year of admission.
For lateral entry, the candidate should have passed 2 years diploma in MedicalTechnology-Radiotherapy after 10 + 2 from a recognized board of education. Candidateshould have attained 17 years or more on 31 st December of the year of admission.

  1. The Fee will have to be deposited at the time of Counselling.
  2. University Charges will be extra as per University norms.
  3. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
  4. There will be an annual increase of 7% in tuition fee.
  5. Students Fund for all the students is Rs.2,000/- p.a.
  6. Life time Alumni Membership fee is Rs. 4,000/-.
  7. Hostel & Transport Charges will be extra.
  8. Students who wish to leave the Institute mid-stream, will have to deposit the fee for the remaining period of the course as per judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Islamic Academy of Education and others Vs State of Karnataka & PA lnamdar case.
