The three-year full time regular course equips the students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The program involves in-depth laboratory work for students to gain expertise in the operational areas of Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety & Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.
The course pays attention to tactical and strategic management in areas like event management, financial management, human resource management, revenue management and entrepreneurship. Some of the foremost objectives of the course are also to develop research skills, complete a 6 months internship in the industry that too twice during the tenure of the course which will be able to deepen the knowledge in the field of Hospitality Industry.
In this course, the students will learn about the essentials of Hotel and Hospitality Administration, like, service operations, food production, front office operations, International cuisines, accounting, accommodation management, wines & liquors, bakery, tourism, etc. The course prepares students to acquire operational level positions in the hospitality industry. Students can also venture their own restaurant/ catering or tourism service after acquiring sufficient experience. Students can also opt for higher education with a suitable Master degree course and then take high level administrative post. After the successful completion of the course students will demonstrate a broad knowledge of the different aspects of hospitality industry. The course will make a student Industry friendly and will enable him to get job opportunities the different areas of Hospitality such as Hotels, Motels, Airlines, Cruises, Restaurants, Cafes.

The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects from a recognized Board/ University.
