The Candidates should have passed with minimum 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ ST category) in aggregate in M.Sc. Environmental Sciences or M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry/ Chemistry or B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent degree in Bio-Technology/ Chemical/ Civil/ Agricultural Engineering from any recognized University.

They are involved in water and air pollution control, recycling, waste disposal, and public health issues.. Environmental engineers conduct hazardous-waste management studies in which they evaluate the significance of the hazard, offer analysis on treatment and containment, and develop regulations to prevent mishaps.
