Employability Readiness

Economic, cultural, urban and rural diversity poses a huge employability challenge that our education system is facing today.  A significant proportion of graduates, nearly 47%, were found not employable in any sector,  

The Department of Training and Placements (T & P) at our University offers an in depth 360 – degree skills development program to groom students to meet corporate expectations.  The T & P Department achieves its objectives by enhancing the employability skills of its students by conducting intensive training on all – round development of students. Various classroom sessions and activities like Mock Group Discussion and Interview sessions – both Technical & HR are conducted to familiarize the students with the real world. Besides these, various competitions and events are organized in the university campus to help students to participate and groom them to be professionals in the future.  We organize events related to both – Soft and Hard Skills.

These sessions and events are managed by competent trainers who have experience in the Academic and Corporate world.  In short – “We create leaders & entrepreneurs for tomorrow.”

Employability Readiness course is designed to people in the following categories:

Employability is a person’s ability to be skilful in all the categories mentioned above.

Training and Placement Department has designed an Employability Program with the vision of enhancing employability amongst fresh graduates (MBA, Engineers etc.) and professionals working at various levels of management. Training and Placement department is committed to impart world class employability skills for sustained performance and career success, and to meet the ever growing industry demand for suitable talent at the all levels of management

Training and Placement Department recognizes some courses as employability enhancing platforms, like CRM courses, Green Belt Certification etc. and helps students with Professional Enhancement Courses by getting into strategic tie ups with companies like SAP, KPMG, Zee etc. offering these courses. These courses, on one hand, help students increase their employment avenues and, on the other hand, help students increase their confidence. Lean Six Sigma is a standard, structured, disciplined and data driven approach which helps the organization to make fact based decisions in all the critical pain areas of the organization. LSS is a management philosophy that seeks to drive a quality culture change through a multi-level based program.
