Accidents to children are a significant health issue, being a major cause of preventable death, serious injury and long-term disability.Under-5 years are particularly at risk of being injured in home accidents, with falls accounting for the majority of non-fatal accidents and threats to breathing such as suffocation, strangulation and choking causing the highest number of deaths. Most home accidents are preventable through increased awareness, improvements in the home environment and greater product safety. For this Pediatric department of M.M. Institute of Nursing, students of B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year is organizing a Group Project for the awareness of patients on topic “PREVENTION OF HOME HAZARDS” on dated 20/02/2021 at MMIMSR Hospital Mullana, Ambala.
