Webinar: Mexican Cuisine – A taste of Mexico

Culinary tourism or food tourism or gastronomy tourism is the exploration of food as the purpose of tourism. It is now considered a vital component of the tourism experience. Dining out is common among tourists and now food has become major part of customer’s ranking regarding the destination along with accommodation, sightseeing and climate. Dining is a way to experience local culture. Mexican cuisine is an important aspect of the culture, social structure and popular traditions of Mexico. The most important example of this connection is the use of mole for special occasions and holidays, particularly in the South and Central regions of the country. It’s loaded with unique ingredients, making it unlike any other food you’ll find around the world. In fact, traditional Mexican food has earned recognition by the UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage contribution to humanity. The purpose of webinar is to gain the knowledge by watching a demonstration and learn the basics of Mexican flavours and pick up a few tips on plating and presentation as well.
