Theme: Taraash 2021 (Intra-institute Talent Hunt)

- Gazaal / Sufi / Bhakti
- Bollywood / Pop
- Folk (Punjabi / Haryanvi)
- Folk (Non-Punjabi / Non-Haryanvi)
- Western Vocal
- Western Instrumental
- Indian Instrumental
Basic Rules:
- Basic Rules and Regulations
- Contestants have to choose any song from the genre they have decided. Contestants should preferably perform on Karaoke or Guitars, however, performance with Karaoke / Guitars also shall be permitted.
- Contestants can select any genre/ instrument and perform. Students are to make arrangements for their own instruments
Dance Events:
- Folk Dance: Punjabi
- Folk Dance: Haryanvi
- Folk Dance: Indian / International
- Bollywood Style
- Western / Hip Hop / Free Style
- Belly Dance
Basic Rules:
- Contestants have to perform according to the genre selected. Contestants should preferably dress up according to the genre selected; however they shall not be disqualified on the basis of costume.
Theatre Events:
- Mono-acting
- Stand Up Comedy
- Mimicry
- Beat Boxing
Basic Rules:
- The students have to make their own act within the time limit and present. Use of prop is allowed.
Literary Speaking Events:
- Elocution: English
- Elocution: Hindi
- Elocution: Punjabi / Haryanvi
Basic Rules:
- Topic for Elocution shall be given 24 Hours in Advance by the respective Institutes. Paper reading is not advisable, however, can be used for taking hints. No contestant shall be disqualified for taking hints from paper.
Literary Writing Events:
- Essay Writing: English
- Essay Writing: Hindi
- Poetry Writing: English
- Poetry Writing: Hindi
Basic Rules:
- Topic for Poetry Writing and Essay writing shall be given on the spot. Use of Phone and books are not allowed. Maximum number of words for Essay writing is 400 and for poetry writing is 150 respectively.
Fine Arts Events:
- On the Spot Painting
- 3D Rangoli
- Mehndi Designing
- Cartooning
- Poster Making
Basic Rules:
- Theme shall be given on the spot by the respective Institutes. Students are required to arrange their own materials for the purpose.
Quiz Event:
- General Quiz Written Test
Basic Rules:
- It shall be a written test having 25 General Knowledge Questions which are to be attempted within 30 minutes.
Photography Event:
- Photography Competition
Basic Rules:
- Contestants can click on any digital platform such as DLSR, Mobile Phones, etc, having
- Resolution> 8MP. Editing and use of any aided software shall lead to disqualification. A theme shall be allotted based on which the photos are to be clicked.
Prizes
The first three prize winners irrespective of the number of participation in each competition shall be awarded certificates of merit!!!
Certificate of participation shall be awarded to contestants who give satisfactory performance & are not listed in the merit category.
