On Saturday, April 3rd, a Free Covid-19 vaccination drive was organized for the residents of Mullana and Ambala in MM(DU) Campus, Mullana. During this drive, 950 people of different age groups were vaccinated with “COVISHIELD” vaccine as a part of Govt. of India vaccination program.
It is worth mentioning that MM(DU)’s sister institution M.M Super Specialty Hospital has been one of the leading healthcare institutions of the region taking care of Corona patients. The hospital has taken a lead in world’s largest vaccination drive as well.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of the University, Sh. Tarsem Garg stated that this FREE vaccination drive is a humble contribution by MM Group of institutions to build a healthy world around. The vaccination will definitely protect and enhance the confidence of people to fight against this deadly virus in these challenging conditions and curb the spread of virus as well.
