Institute of Computer Technology & Business Management organized a workshop on Password Hashing.The workshop gave the students insight into Network Security & Cryptography, specifically about Cryptographic Hash functions with its fundamental properties and uses like Resource Authentication, Message Integrity and Pseudo Random Number Generation.ExpertDr.Somitra Kumar Sanadhya, Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT, Ropar, Rupnagar (Punjab) gave students complex problems to solve and guided them along the way.
