International Women’s Day, a day for praising women for their everyday hard work to accomplish domestic and professional goals. The theme for International Women’s Day 2021 “Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal future in a COVID-19 World” draws our attention towards women’s role in shaping an equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspite of playing the most examplary roles in combating the pandemic, women are still underrepresented in public life and decision-making. To ascendant women’s rights, their perspectives are very neccassary in the grouping of all the policies and programmes in each and every stage of life.
In the same context Department of Law, Maharishi Markandeshwer (Deemed to be University) Mullana is going to conduct a powerful Webinar on the theme for International Women’s Day 2021 “Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal future in a COVID-19 World” to explore how women in leadership support women globally in their organizations and communities. The webinar will also highlight to tackle the hurdles to continue to stimulate women’s advancement.
