As per the guidelines of UGC regarding to spread the awareness about preventing ragging in higher education institutions, from 12-18 August 2024 has been observed as Anti-Raging week in MMICTBM a constituent institute of the Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be univeristy) Mullana. In a series of awarenes activities MMICT&BM has organized an Anti-ragging Nukkad Natak on 16.08.2024 under the initiative by the Government of India aimed at preventing Ragging.
The primary objective of the anti-ragging nukkad natak was to raise awareness among students and the general public about the harmful effects of ragging, promote a culture of respect and unity, and encourage the reporting of any incidents of ragging to create a safer environment for everyone. The nukkad natak, titled “Break the Silence: Say No to Ragging,” was performed by a group of enthusiastic students from Anti Ragging Club.
The nukkad natak drew a large audience, including students, faculty, and passersby. The audience was visibly moved by the performance, with many expressing their thoughts and experiences during the interactive session that followed the play. The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to stand against ragging and support a culture of respect and kindness in educational institutions.
A Total of 18 students & 15 faculty members clubbed the program. The Anti Ragging Committee presented thanks to the performers, the audience, and all those who contributed to the success of this event.
