Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation celebrated “75 th Independence Day” on the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on 10/08/2022 i.e., Wednesday at MMIPR, MM(DU)- Mullana. The tree plantation drive was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Manu Goyal, Principal, MMIPR, MM(DU)- Mullana, faculty members and students of MMIPR to mark “Green India”. The poster making contest on the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” held at departmental library from 11:30 AM onwards. Event was started with welcome speech and Prof. (Dr.) Asir John Samuel addressed the gathering with his kind words. The event was further proceeded with Vande Mataram. The competitive events such as poetry contest, poster making, patriotic dance, patriotic photography, patriotic singing, and speech contest on the theme Patriotism were conducted by the student council committee in which 41 students of BPT and MPT participated enthusiastically in respective events out of which 18 students won medals in various competitive events. The felicitation ceremony was conducted at the end of the event where medals were awarded to all the winners of their respective competitive events. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nisha Rawat (PT), Overall Coordinator, MMIPR, MM(DU)- Mullana, and the event was ended with National Anthem. We are looking forward for to conduct such events and participate enthusiastically for future endeavors.
