In a major step towards enhancement of internalization activities, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of North Alabama (UNA), USA.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Rajan, Official Representative of University of North Alabama, USA (for South East Asia region) and Dr. Harish K Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MM(DU).
Through this MoU, MM(DU) students can join University of North Alabama as transfer students to pursue Bachelors and Masters degree studies at UNA through 2+2 and 1+1 program models. MM(DU) students who will successfully complete all degree-required courses and meet the conditions for graduation, will be granted an official Bachelor and/or Master degree from UNA.
Both UNA and MM(DU) have also agreed to explore international cooperation initiatives including Joint Research, Faculty Exchange, Joint Conferences and Workshops of mutual interest to further enhance educational excellence and opportunities at both universities.
For the Nursing students, NCLEX Coaching Centre in collaboration with University of North Alabama was also inaugurated on the campus.
