While not everyone can visit North East, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala has taken the initiative to bring the cultural flavours of North East to the Green Land of Haryana through “The MM North East Cultural Fiesta 2018”

The MM North East Cultural Fiesta 2018; while on one side aims to bring along every North Eastern staying in our campus together and provide a platform to celebrate culture and togetherness; on the other side, it showcase to the entire nation, the rich cultural diversity of the 8 states that together makes, North East.

This one day event has been divided into four parts. The first part is the Inauguration ceremony followed by a Conference / Talk show in which we are inviting prominent personalities from the 8 states to discuss upon “Improvement of Life of North Eastern Students, across the bound of North East”. The Second part is Arts, Culture & Food Exhibition in which the students are making a North Eastern House that shall have exhibitions from all the 8 states and food stalls to present the flavours of North East. The third part is about cultural exhibition in which students from the 8 states are going to present Regional / Folk Group Songs and Group Dances. It shall be followed by a Cultural Parade in which the students are going to do the ramp walk in their Cultural Attires. The last part of the event is the Prize distribution ceremony in which the Best Exhibition Stall, the best dance team, the best singing team, Mr. NE, Ms. NE, Best Overall State Award, etc. shall be awarded.
