On 9 th December, 2022 Department of Chemistry (MMEC) in association with Women Study Centre, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University, Mullana, Ambala organized a poster making competition with the theme of “Women Safety in Present Era” under the guidance of respected Head of Department Chemistry Dr Bhawna Pareek and honorable Dr. Ashok Arora; Director, MMEC. The poster making competition was organized from 10:00 am- 11:00 am in the Reading Hall, Engineering block-1. Total 22 students participated in the event and the event was judged by panel of 3 judge’s i.e. Dr. Bhawna Pareek (HOD Chemistry), Dr. Nidhi Sharma (Professor, Department of Mathematics and Humanities) and Dr. Neera Batra (Associate Professor, Department of CSE).
Prizes were distributed to the winners and E-certificates were provided to all the participants as a token of appreciation for their active participation in the event.
The event was ably coordinated by Dr. Pooja Sethi (Chemistry), Dr. Nadeem Sharma (Chemistry), Dr. Jigyasa (Chemistry). The event was a huge success and a great zeal was seen among the participants as well as among the organizers.
