It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the Academic Council vide its Resolution No. 7 dated 5-3-2020 has approved the following academic costumes and dress code for participation in the Convocation of this Deemed to be University in different capacities as per the guidelines of the UGC:

OR Handloom Fabrics White Kurta and White Dhoti/Pyjama. | Handloom Fabrics Saree and Blouse (Cream colour Saree with Maroon boarder and Maroon colour Blouse). OR Handloom Fabrics Chudidar/Salwar and Kurta (Cream colour) with full or 3/4th Sleeves. (Length of Kurta till the knee). Formal Dupatta of Maroon Colour without any bells/latkons/shells/coins, etc. OR Handloom Fabrics full sleeves White Shirt and White Trousers with Black Belt. |
Note: In the case of Convocation during winter season, the dress code as above will be with Blue Blazer/Jacket/Sweater/Shawl.
While Stole to all the dignitaries, faculty and other staff on duty and the students receiving the degrees will be provided by the MM(DU) at the time of Convocation, rest of the dress will have to be arranged by themselves as it is mandatory to observe the above dress code during the Convocation of the MM(DU).
