Right to Information Act 2005

The Right to Information Act 2005 has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force since 15th June, 2005. This Act provides right to information for citizens to secure/access the information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.

1. Name of the Public Information Officers

Sh. K.L. Huria Dy. Registrar (Academic) Public Information Officer (Academic) in all matters related to students of this Deemed to be University and its institutions, their admission courses, examination etc. and matters related to Academic Affairs of this Deemed to be University and its institutions.
Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta Dy. Registrar (Estt.) Public Information Officer (Administration) in all matters related to establishment and administration of this Deemed to be University and its institutions.

3. How to apply:  

The person who desires to obtain any information under this Act shall make a request in writing or through electronic means in English or Hindi along with a fee of Rs. 10/- in the shape of Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University) payable at Mullana.
