Central Placement Cell

‘Education without a means to earn a livelihood is just like a bird without wings!’

In order to provide wings to the dreams of the students of MM(DU) and to launch their careers in the corporate world, the Central Placement Cell with its genesis in the year 1995 has successfully proved its existence in doing so. The corporate world is always on the lookout for a suitable candidate who is able to cope with the ongoing competitive world and has a zeal to outshine other colleagues with regard to acquired hard skills, critical thinkers with strong work ethics, ability to learn things quickly and implement the same as and when required and more importantly adapt to the changing corporate world and be extremely dynamic. The biggest challenge today is not employment but ‘being employable’. To bridge this widened gap between the Campus and the Corporate and to make one Industry-Ready, The Training and Placement Department at MM(DU) works together hand-in-hand to cater to the needs of the students in making them world-ready. The Training department, with the support of a dedicated team of seasoned Trainers, implements a 360-degree approach with its key emphasis on giving the leaders of tomorrow a complete edge by acing their GD/PI skills, helping them master the art of communications, making them adept with technical and logical abilities, grooms their overall personality, imparts them with life skills and ensures they are ready to outshine in the professional world as well as in every walk of their life. With polished functional corporate skills comes the challenge to secure umpteen opportunities and that’s how the Placement Department comes into play, with its responsibility to find desired jobs for the students and desired candidates for the companies as a part of the moral obligation towards the youth, the society and the nation at large. With numerous links and connections with the biggies, the team coordinates with different companies, corporate houses, start-ups and listed names and invites them to MM (DU) for campus hiring with handsome packages. The entire team at the Placement Department ensures that the student is properly guided and counseled regarding the placement process right from day one till his onboarding in a particular company and even after. Due to the tireless efforts of the placement team, their strong connections within the industry and sheer belief in their students, the Department has been able to place many students in many world-renowned companies.

We at MM(DU) strongly believe that each and every MMDU student would spread his/her golden dust with the progressive learning attitude that they have been sculptured with and would come out victoriously with flying colors in each field of their life.
