Abstract
Due to properties like high strength, less shrinkage, resistance to corrosion, acid & sulphate, less freeze-thaw resistance, fire resistance and resistance to alkali-aggregate reaction Geopolymer Concrete (GPC) is considered to be as good and efficient building material. High strength characteristics of GPC is predisposed by the material type and quality of alumina silicate, type of alkaline activators used and their concentration, curing time and temperature, M sand utilized etc. In this paper we have focused on the different admixtures used in the formation of GPC and depending upon these admixtures, various properties of GPC is compared.
