Abstract-

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks have many advantages compared to traditional concrete blocks like advanced strength to weight ratio, lower Coefficient of thermal expansion, good sound insulation as a result of air-voids within it. The literature review offers info on the work done on the various properties of AAC and also the results obtained thereby. Finally the cost effectiveness and ecofriendliness like advanced strength to weight ratio, lower Coefficient of thermal expansion, good sound of AAC has been mentioned.
