In the Present context, the knowledge and role of law in society cannot be carried out on the basis of doctrinal principles and positive inquiries only. Law is to be conceived in the social context and studied in terms of social dynamics. This approach towards the study of law presupposes a vast canvas of skills and approaches from the legally skilled persons. The need for the legal professionals to be able to construct policies, evaluate them and integrate them with social process is evident today more than ever before. When the rough texture of the law with positive command has been smoothened by ‘law as an instrument of social change’, it has become imperative to absorb this approach to in the study of law and the curriculum must reflect these objectives at legal education. The endeavour has been made in the present paper to address this aspect of the study law.
