MMICT & BM (Hotel Management) is organizing a virtual workshop on “Importance of Patent and Innovation in Tourism & Hospitality Education” scheduled at 02:30 PM, 11 May 2021 on Google meet online platform. Knowledge is known as human capital which is transferred and applied to practice after research and development. It is long and difficult process, but highly valued which can simplify overall production process. The very idea must be researched in the  event that comes to  patenting, or any intellectual property, it is output which can have positive impact on the overall economy (Al Kassiri & Čorejová, 2015). The need of the hour is to develop a sound methodological base of research among the budding researchers to cope up with future challenges. The objective of this workshop is to understand the importance and use of patents in hospitality sector .The workshop also provide the platform to the young academician to discuss the key issue and concept of patents in hospitality.
