21st Mid Term conference of AOMSI “MIDCOMS 2017” was hosted by Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the best planned city in India – Chandigarh on 6th to 8th April 2017. The venue for the MIDCOMS conference was Holiday Inn at Panchkula. The conference received a good 641 registrations which had 510 registered students and 131 registered delegates. The 3 day conference was planned with an exhaustive and enriching sessions which included 4 pre-conferences courses, 25 key note lectures , 7 panel discussions which saw an active participation from 30 panelists who engaged in some interesting case discussions. The pre-conference courses was well attended and had 95 registrations from students and alike. About 394 papers and 64 posters were presented by students delegates at the conference. Overall, the conference was a grand success and an enlightening experience for students as well as delegates. Dr. Nageshwar Iyer was organising chairman, Dr. Atul Sharma as organizing secretary and Dr. Aayush Malhotra as Treasurer.Dr.(Col) Madan oration was given by Dr. Rajesh Dhirwani.
