A Comprehensive workshop was conducted by the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, MMCDSR which was attended by 26 participants. Dr. Dr. G. Dharmadeep, Asst. Professor in prestigious G. Pullareddy Dental College & Hospital, Kumool, Andhra Pradesh was the keynote speaker. He is researcher & innovator in the field of bracket design. The basics & material perspective of different orthodontics brackets and camparison along with buccal & lingual biomechanics were discussed. Different available self- ligating systems, both active & passive were shown. Discussion about case selection, impression technique, attachments, IPR protocol & orthodontic biomechanics of different malocclusions using aligners was done.
