Dr. P.C. Garg, Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala delivered a talk on Feb 3, 2020 on the topic, ‘Advancement of optimization techniques in research’.
He explained about the different optimization techniques like, sequencing and scheduling, queuing theory, inventory models, game theory. He also discussed the different methods used under these techniques and how different production industries can use these techniques to optimize their production.
