Department of Physics organized an industrial visit to Hathnikund Barrage and Hydropower Plant, Yamunanagar on 17th April 2015 for the students of M.Sc Physics. About 75 students and 5 faculty members were the participants of the tour. The main purpose of the tour was to get the students familiar with hydro power generation and make them aware about the importance of Renewable Energy.
