The Department of Physics organized a one-day expert lecture by Prof(Dr.) Satya Prakash, Prof Emeritus, Dept Of Metallurgy and Material Engg. IIT Roorkee on the topic “Metallurgical problems in under water and other parts in power generation” for M.Sc physics students. The lecture was attended by 120 students and 12 faculty members of Physics and other departments. Prof Satya Prakash explained various potential problems associated with power generation. He also interacted with the students and motivated them to pursue a career as a researcher.
