An essay writing competition on the eve of International Women’s Day was organized by Women Cell in collaboration with Department of Mathematics and Humanities on March 8, 2016. The topic was “Women Empowerment: an Illusion or a reality”. More than a hundred participants from various institutes of the university took part in it and expressed their views openly. The objective of this event was to bring out the hidden talent of creative writing of the young aspirants.
