The Computer Science and Engineering Department, M.M.E.C., M.M.(DU) organized a one day Webinar on “Data Science Applications using Python” on 27.08.2021 for the Faculty, Research Scholars and Students. The resource person was Dr. Asadi Srinivasulu, Head – Research & Professor of Information Technology at BlueCrest University, Monrovia, Liberia. He has 17 years of teaching and industrial experience. He had discussed the basics of Data Science concepts such as Statistics, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning along the Data Statistics, Analytics, Transformation and Data Visualization. Various Python Libraries like Keras, Scikit Learn and Tensorflow. The participants were able to learn how to create a python file using PyCharm, Understand Data model of real-time applications, working with COVID-19 virus detection using CNN and RNN and the awareness on COVID-19 STRAIN virus detection using CNN and RNN. Many of the participants had raised their queries in the session and all these queries were successfully resolved by the resource person with suitable examples. A total of 91 participants (Students: 48. Faculty: 38. Research Scholars: 5) from different institutes from different states of the country.
