Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (MMIPR) Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, successfully organized “PHYSIOTHERAPY CAMP IN COLLABORATION WITH CARDIAC AND ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY CONSULTATION” on 22th October 2021 held at M. M. SuperSpeciality Hospital, Mullana-Ambala. Sarpanches from various rural areas of Ambala region were invited to attend the orthopedic, cardiac and physiotherapy camp. Total 20 sarpanches attended this camp. Postgraduates of MMIPR attended this camp to givephysiotherapy consultation to the attendees. The program started with the speech by Orthopedic and Cardiac surgeons’ who explained about the orthopedic and cardiac surgeries, like total knee replacement, total hip replacement, and the procedure of CABG, respectively. After speech, all attendees were asked to go for free medical examination like BP measurements, ECG, Hb count and physiotherapy consultation. Physiotherapy consultation included exercises and ergonomic care for various conditions such as, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, post-operative TKR and THR rehabilitation, rehabilitation after cardiac surgeries and how to enhance functional and aerobic capacities of an individual.
