M. M. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organised an ISR activity program to spread awareness on tuberculosis amongst frontline workers on “World tuberculosis Day” 2022. The program was attended by 25 frontline workers devoted in taking care of hospital sanitation at MMDU, Mullana. Dr Nisha Rawat, Assistant Professor, MMIPR, along with Student Council members initiated the event with orientation on tuberculosis spread and its impact on health and about its prevention and treatment. Various posters were also presented by students to raise awareness on the same. Workers enthusiastically participated throughout the program and were engaged in asking lot of their queries. Also, home exercise program for maintaining good lung functions was briefed to the workers. We are looking forward to conduct more such events and participate enthusiastically.
