M. M. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organised an ISR activity program to spread awareness on tuberculosis amongst frontline workers on the occasion of “World Tuberculosis Day” The program was attended by 25 frontline workers devoted in taking care of hospital sanitation at MM(DU), Mullana. Dr Nisha Rawat, Assistant Professor, MMIPR,along with student council members initiated the event with orientation on tuberculosis spread, its impact on health and about its prevention and treatment. Various posters were also presented by students to raise awareness on the same. Workers enthusiastically participated in the program and asked a lot of questions. Home exercises for maintaining good lung functions were taught to the workers. We are looking forward to conduct more such events and participate enthusiastically.
