Department of Public Health Dentistry, MMCDSR, has organized various activities to mark World No Tobacco Day 2018.This institute has always been momentous in its efforts to create awareness, promote health and prevent disease in the community. A committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Debdutta Das (Principal) withmembers from all the departments to overlook all the events. The secretary of the committee, Dr G.M Sogi steered all the events that focused on creating awareness among students, faculty members as well as general public about the effects of tobacco on oral as well as general health. A paly was performed by inters for the school children in collaboration with NSS and was highly appreciated by local media. Another NukkadNatak was played by interns in collaboration with NSS for patients visiting outpatient department at M.M Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana. An overwhelmed response was observed among spectators.
