The Plantation program was to drive the idea to students that they play an important role in responding to Climate Change and Environmental Emergency.
With a view to check environment degradation and make surroundings clean and green, a major plantation drive was initiated on August 14, 2018 by the Electrical Engineering Department. The plantation drive began at 10 am wherein the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor MM (DU), Director (M.M.E.C), Dean Student Welfare MM (DU)), Faculty members and the students planted the saplings at the University. During the plantation, the students and faculty members took a vow of planting more trees and saving the environment.
