A talk was held on August 6, 2016 on “Women Empowerment: An Illusion or a Reality” in seminar hall, Engg. Block 2. The event was organized by the department of Mathematics and Humanities and Women Cell as well. Dr. Satnam Kaur, Dean Students’ Welfare, Jammu University, Jammu was the keynote speaker. In her address, she threw light on the present status of women in society by giving a number of real life examples.
