The Department of Physics organized a one-day Expert lecture by Prof(Dr.) K.Sreenivas, Director USIC, University of Delhi, New Delhi on the topic ‘Magneto-Electric Effect: Materials & Devices’ for M.Sc physics students on 29th Feb 2016. The lecture session was attended by 100 students and 12 faculty members of Physics and other departments. Prof K. Sreenivas explained various potential materials used to innovate devices for magnetic effect generation. He also interacted with the students and motivated them to pursue a career as a researcher.
