Dr. Satya Bir Singh (Professor), Deptt. of Mathematics, Punjabi University Patiala (P.B) delivered a talk on 25thJan 2018 on the topic, ‘Numerical Methods’. He discussed the applications of numerical methods in computer science for root algorithm, to determine the profit and loss of a company, used in train and traffic signal, network simulation, weather prediction etc.
