M.M. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized a physiotherapy camp on 30 th March 2022 in Government School, Shimbla village, Ambala. The aim of the camp was to create awareness about physiotherapy among rural population. The patients were assessed for their persisting problems and basic physiotherapy exercises were prescribed according to the need of the patients. Some patients were also advised for visiting the hospital for further diagnosis and proper treatment plan.Dr. Javeria (PT) coordinated the event and maintained the discipline. All the students were motivated and took part with great enthusiasm. Ankita (MPT student, MMIPR) spoke to patients regarding their problems and acknowledged them about the role of physiotherapy to improve their condition and quality of life. She also enlightened the part of how physiotherapy becoming advanced in clinical scenario. Rohan (BPT intern) played a crucial role in organizing and managing the event successfully.
Outcome:
The patients were satisfied with the treatment session and were delighted to continue their further physiotherapy treatment.
