M.M. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized a hands-on workshop on “Pre-natal and Post-natalFitness: A special tribute to Women on The International Women`s Day”on 8th March 2022. The aim of the workshop was to discuss the problems and a complication arises during pregnancy and implementation of sustainable development goals to promote pre and post-natal fitness. The workshop was held at Clinical Skill and Simulation Centre, MMIMSR,MM (DU).
Following dignitaries graced the inaugural ceremony of the workshop:

Prof. (Dr) Manu Goyal (PT), Principal, MMIPR addressed all the participants and introduced them to the guest. He shared his thoughts on the topic of workshop and also shared some lines on International Women`s Day and started the workshop. The workshop started with a brief description of female anatomy and physiology by the resource person.After that, practical and hands on skills demonstration was performed by resource person on pre and postnatal training and participants practiced the techniques under his supervision. At the end, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Asir John Samuel, Professor, MMIPR. The participants were facilitated with certification of participation by the resource person Dr Pradip Sarkar. All the participants attended the workshop with great enthusiasm. The workshop was very effective and informative. MMIPR is looking forward to organize more such events in future.
