On this occasion of Holi, TheCodex Society of Computer Science Department of MM Engineering College conducted an event “Rainbow Tech” which consisted of three sub-events: Big Fight, Figure it Out, Snap Hunt.
Big Fight was an event conducted in two phases: Big fight prelims and Big fight finale. Big Fight Prelims was held on 6th March 2019 and a total of 16 participants participated in this event. Big Fight Finale was held on 14th March 2019. This was the final round for Big Fight. The shortlisted candidates from the Preliminary Round of Big Fight competed and presented their views as the assigned characters in the debate. Two debates were conducted. The first one had the topic: ‘Should women in India be given more Privileges’ and the second one had the topic: ‘Coalition Politics vs BJP’s Polarisation Strategy’.
Figure it Out was an event consisting of multiple rounds each in which picture description was to be done. It consisted of three rounds and the winners were decided on the basis of overall score from three rounds. It was held on 11th March 2019. A total of 63 participants took part in this event.
Snap Hunt was an event in which participants had to go to that place and click the snap of that particular hint and send to their assigned volunteers and at last, they have to make a collage of those pictures and send to the assigned volunteers. It was held on 12th March 2019. A total of 85 students took part in this event.
