M.M. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, organized a seminar on Recent Updates on New Technology in the field of Rehabilitation on 20th May 2022. The aim of the seminar was to tell students about the recent advancements in the field of electrotherapy. The seminar was held at Clinical Skill Lab, MM (DU).
Prof. (Dr.) Asir (PT) addressed all the participants and introduced them to the resource persons. The seminar started with a brief description of recent advancements in the field of electrotherapy. The speakers advertised about the electrotherapy devices “ZIMMER’’ in which the speakers introduced about the shock wave therapy and laser therapy modality. The practical session was provided for the students and faculty members on shock wave therapy and laser therapy to relieve tenderness and muscle spasm. The event was ended with a question answer round in which the doubts from the students and faculty members were taken by the speakers and provide relevant knowledge regarding the doubts. At the end, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Manu. The seminar was attended by all the participants with great enthusiasm. The seminar was very informative. MMIPR is looking forward to organize more such events in future.
