A workshop on basic life support was organized by Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Dental Sciences and Research on 15th September 2017 from 8:00am to 5:00pm which was attended by 97 participants including the under-graduates and post graduates from different colleges. The workshop included learning of the BLS sequence and the quality of the CPR performed after training and analysed the retention of the BLS sequence and CPR skills after 9 hours of training. It was done on special CPR mannequins with live demonstration and skill assessment. The workshop was conducted by American Heart Association trained faculty,Dr.ManishaDwivedi Bhatt, Professor, Anaesthesia, MMIMSR, Mullana, Ambala and Dr.ShikhaBaisakhiya, Professor, Physiology, MMIMSR, Mullana, Ambala.
