M.M college of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized ‘World No Tobacco Day (WNTD)’ on 31st May, 2019 with M.M Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized ‘World No Tobacco Day (WNTD)’ on 31st May, 2019. The event was based on the theme “Tobacco and Lung Health”, given by World Health Organization and focused on raising awareness about the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco in lung health of the people either by active or passive smoking. Pledge-taking ceremony was also conducted and students of MMIPR along with teaching and non-teaching staffs were taken oath to stay away from any type of tobacco as notified by UGC order [D. No. F. 1-92006(CPP-II), Dated 30 May 2019].
