Many candidates spend hours researching about the company they are applying for and perfecting their CV and pay little regard to the aptitude tests which are becoming an increasingly important and essential part of employer’s application process. Employers use aptitude tests to distinguish between candidates and a poor score on a numerical or verbal reasoning aptitude tests could be the difference between getting an interview or not. Conventionally, covering letters or CVs are utilized, but firms often get hundreds of job applications for every job vacancy.
